Tim Driver was born May 6, 1970 in Gary, Indiana.  His father was a truck driver for Inland Steel and his mother was the church secretary for Open Door COGIC.  He started programming computers at the age of 8 and started preaching to Word of God at the age of 9.  After graduating High School, Tim addended Purdue University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering specializing in Artificial Intelligence.  He later got his Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology.

Tim is an Agile Transformation Specialist focusing on coaching, training, and managing organizational agile transformations, maturation and change management. His experience is deep and diverse. He has a successful track record of coaching agile transformations and product/program delivery with Fortune 100 companies in High Tech, Telecom, Health Care, Financial Services and Entertainment industries. His strength is his pragmatic approach to agile transformations taking into account an organization’s goals, capabilities, culture and constraints.

While in the COGIC Church, Tim graduated from the COGIC Academy Seminary in North Carolina and was Ordained as an Elder in the COGIC Church.  He served in many capacities at Victorious Praise, COGIC in Durham, NC which include:

• Associate Pastor
• Pastoral Care Leader for Issachar Tribe
• Vice President of the Board of Directors for Victorious Community Development Corporation
• Pastor over the Business and Professional Development Ministry

After many years of service in the COGIC Church, Tim was lead to serve several years in non-denominational Churches.  As a member of Crossroads Fellowship in Raleigh, NC, he served as a Pastoral Care Leader and Missionary to Chihuahua, Mexico.  For a short time, Tim started his own church and served as Senior Pastor of Waymakers, Ministries, in Raleigh, NC.  He then later teamed up with another pastor and served as Assistant Pastor of Light of Life Ministries in Raleigh, NC.

After a hiatus from leadership, a rested Tim now joins Victory Baptist Church as Assistant Pastor.

Tim is married to his lovely wife Sharmesa and has a blended family with 5 kids; two boys and three girls.  As empty nesters, Tim and Sharmesa moved from Joliet, Illinois to Tampa, Florida in March of 2021.  They then settled into their new home in South Tampa in March of 2022.

Tim’s Vision:  My vision is to draw sinners by the demonstration of Christ’s love within us, and bring them to salvation, instruct and minister the Word of God, disciple and equip believers to become effective Christian leaders within their homes, communities, schools, businesses, governments and throughout the world.

Tim’s Mission:  My mission is to infuse a Burning Desire to develop a personal relationship with Christ, develop a Contagious Passion for learning and ministering the Word of God, demonstrate Unfaltering Faith in the power and promises of God, and use my spiritual gifts to apply Focused Action towards building Christ’s Kingdom.
